Gearing up a level..
'This is an establishing shot, we're on a new planet now, following a new story-arc, let's see how it plays out, this is also to set up how the colonists are really strictly regimented and individuality is repressed, which is why they're all wearing the green jackets.'
Blood and guts..
'Here's where we introduce fat Jack, a fight promoter, this character is basically DECKARD, what's going on here is that you can't escape your past, and history repeats itself, DECKARD orders ZEKE to kill people, and ZEKE eventually runs away from all that, now here ZEKE is again being


Get lost, I'm drinking...
'This little scene really introduces ZEKE and establishes that he has a slight drinking problem, and a zero-respect for authority, alot of this stuff was based on 'The Last Samurai' which really resonated with some of the themes LOTP was expressing.

Fist-fight...
'This was an interesting case of where the script dictated the game-play, the whole pretty basic hand combat was coded just for this scene, at one point if you decided to kill CRUSHER his girlfriend would berate you afterwards, but there just wasn't time to
ordered to kill people, by fat Jack this time, and again ZEKE will run away from it.'
I wanted to portray Fat Jack here as more of a bad father character than as just evil.'
implement it, probably the most interesting point is if you decide to kill CRISHER you have to actually beat him to death, which really drives home the message of this series. Also you can spot BUDDY in the crowd as your fighting if you look closely enough.'
